Candidate will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a the service technicians and shop. They will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, ensuring that service work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of technicians and mechanics.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Understands and follows Federal, State and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous wastes
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed for the service department. 
• Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes.
• Schedule and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines.
• Keeps work area clean and tidy attends company training

Experience

• Ford Motor Company Factory and Shop Experience required
• ASE Certified
• 10 - 20 years experience as an Automotive Technician
• Managerial or Supervisory Experience Required
