Job Purpose: Sells/leases automobiles by understanding and demonstrating vehicle characteristics, capabilities, and features; builds rapport, develops and qualifies buyers; closes sales, and exceeds customer satisfaction standards (csi).

Job Duties:

    • Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggests trade-ins; responds to inquiries, networks and generates a potential customer base for sale of vehicles.
    • Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matches requirements and interests to various models; builds rapport
    • Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; takes test drives with prospects
    • Completes sale by overcoming objections; asks for the sale; negotiates price with Customer by way of Sales Manager; completes sale or service,  works with Finance Manager to aid with finance process; delivers automobile to the customer.
    • Proficient in offering/explaining warranty, maintenance, and related programs.
    • Diligent in presentation of documents and able to answer questions.
    • Provides necessary after-sales support and follow-up processes.
    • Maintains or exceeds the store's CSI standards.
    • Meets set sales targets.
    • Keeps track of all the market products and prices, completes on-going training with the Store Sales Management and Corporate Training requirements to meet Certifications.
    • Stays current on dealership and manufacturer training modules.

Skills/Qualifications

    • Should possess good written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and convincing abilities
    • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set sales targets
    • Should have technical knowledge of all the key driver functions of the vehicles

Job Requirements

    • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience of 2 – 3 years in the field of automobile sales management is an added advantage
    • Basic Computer skills
    • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality; maintain a well-groomed appearance
    • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
    • Available evenings and weekends
    • All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
