The ideal candidate will:

Receive all deals from New, Pre-Owned and Finance Departments
Verify deal contents and communicate with Sales & F&I team for items needed for compliance and accurace
Overnight lender packets to the appropriate lenders
Issue and overnight checks for payoff and trade ins
Post all sales transactions to accounting and dealership DMS.
Maintain multiple scheduled including; Contract in Transit, Incentives, Payoff's, etc..
Assit with other functions in account as needed
Requirements:

Automotive Accounting and Reynolds & Reynold experience strongly preferred
Computer proficiency required
Detail oriented
Ability to work with little supervision with a dense of urgency to meet deadlines
Valid Texas Drivers License

Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
Provide labor estimates to service advisor
Monitor repair time and update service advisor
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
Assist in mentoring technician trainees

Collision Center / Body Shop Technician - Mechanic – Planet Ford Dallas
We know that good body techs do more than repairs, they make our customer’s vehicles—and our shop—look good! If you are experienced, hard-working and known for your skill and attention to detail, then our busy collision center may be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

Possess an operating knowledge of measuring systems
Replace damaged wiring harnesses or reinstall harnesses after body repair
Diagnose and repair full-frame vehicles and uni-body structural damage
Perform vehicle collision and repair work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty
Perform all body work including welding, soldering, body alignment and oxidizing operations
Remove and reinstall interiors
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
Notify body shop supervisor and/or estimator immediately if additional repair is required or not needed
Notify shop supervisor and/or estimator immediately if repairs can’t be completed within time promised
Document all work performed on the RO including recording cause of failure
Maintain the highest possible standards of workmanship; perform quality checks
Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean and are only driven for business purpose
Keep shop area neat, clean; must account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
Stay current in the latest collision and repair methods across a number of brands; stay informed of latest bulletins, manuals and other publications
Participate in collision and repair training activities; attend factory-sponsored classes
Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition; immediately report safety incidents
Understand, keep informed of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know
Safeguard dealership assets and customer data
Complete required training assigned through the company training portal
Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule
