Automotive Business Office Manager

The World Class Automotive Group is conducting a search for an experienced Automotive Assistant Controller/Office Manager a retail operation located in North Dallas area. This position offers a competitive compensation program and benefit package!!

 

Job Description

  • Assists in overseeing the financial and accounting system and personnel at our dealership
  • Prepares monthly budgets and financial statements.
  • Forecasts financial goals for each quarter to maintain the dealership’s profitability.
  • Processing insurance claims and liability insurance.
  • Reviewing financial statements and ledgers, and working with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies.
  • Insure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly, current and accurate condition at all times.
  • Preparing all taxes and filing forms with the government.
  • Meeting with the department managers regularly to go over business matters and develop plans to increase profitability.

The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed that includes strong Automotive experience

  • Must have at least 5 years of accounting experience as an Automotive Assistant Controller/Office Manager
  • The individual will manage the day-to-day accounting monthly close
  • must be able to supervise areas such as accounts receivable and accounts payable, financial reporting, internal controls and assist with audits
  • Candidate will provide sales and expense analyses summarizing potential problem areas and opportunities for improved profitability relative to monthly and annual forecasts.
  • The individual will also be a proven leader with strong knowledge of internal controls, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, as well as to be detail-oriented. Must have strong communications, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, or the equivalent, is expected
  • Must be proficient in Reynolds and Reynolds
