POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Office, Community and Recruiting Coordinator is a very exciting, multifaceted, key position in our organization.  The ideal candidate is expected to operate daily with a high level of professional skills, communicate incredibly well at every level of the organization and have a desire to create winning relationships within the company, the employees, customers and local community. This highly motivated and energized person must demonstrate high integrity, honesty, confidentiality as wells as be a team player at all times,

OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ADMISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Typing, filing and scheduling, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating external and internal mailings, and working on special projects.
  • Assist with the resolution of customer complaints and administrative problems by coordinating the preparation of reports, gathering and analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Coordinate business trips and make all of the arrangements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

RECRUTING/ONBOARDING DUTIES

  • Write, develop and update job postings of available company positions utilizing organizations’ employment portal.
  • Review submitted applications for quality candidates, coordinate follow-up questions and interviews accordingly.
  • Handle aspects of the hiring process of potential new employees including all necessary follow up to ensure each candidate has completed the entire steps to move through the hiring process as quickly and smoothly as possible.
  • Seek new connections and avenues to find quality candidates by establishing and maintain a profile on LinkedIN, Facebook or other social platforms. Search and attend Career Fairs. Build relationships with local High Schools and Trade Schools, such as UTI and other automotive based programs.
  • Conduct onboarding of new employees from providing all necessary information and instructions to coordinating first day orientation that includes a company tour, educating the new employee on the industry, different departments, processes and flow working with them closely to ensure their transition in the company is a success.

 COMMUNITY RELATIONS DUTIES MARKETING/PROMOTIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Establish and maintain local community relationships with the City and Chamber organizations, attending monthly luncheons and schedule events.
  • Develop relationship with local schools, nonprofits and businesses in the community seeking strategic alliances.
  • Attend all company sponsored events, volunteering and building a positive image for the company.
  • Develop, plan and coordinate all internal company events.
  • Support marketing team on all social media endeavors by providing and even posting on company’s various social platforms. i.e. Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Capture and maintain all company and sponsored events, with photos, videos, content and relevant information, ensuring it’s shared with the entire company and marketing team.
  • Maintain and track all community expenses and budgets.
  • Work with company’s various paid endorsers to maintain positive relationships.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 year of full-time experience in recruiting, hiring and community relations; and performing routine office, executive assistance. Social media and recruitment platform knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use general office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; superior communication skills (verbal and written) and active listening skills;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and drugs test.
