RECRUITING AND TRAINING MANAGER

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Recruiting and Training Manager is a very exciting, multifaceted, key position in our organization. The ideal candidate is expected to operate daily with a high level of professional skills, communicate incredibly well at every level of the organization and have a desire to create winning relationships within the company, the employees, and potential new hire candidates. This highly motivated and energized person must demonstrate high integrity, honesty, confidentiality as wells as be a team player at all times.

OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

RECRUTING/ONBOARDING DUTIES

  • Write, develop and update job postings of available company positions utilizing organizations’ employment portal.
  • Review submitted applications for quality candidates, coordinate follow-up questions and interviews accordingly.
  • Handle aspects of the hiring process of potential new employees including all necessary follow up to ensure each candidate has completed the entire steps to move through the hiring process as quickly and smoothly as possible.
  • Seek new connections and avenues to find quality candidates by establishing and maintain a profile on LinkedIN, Facebook or other social platforms. Search and attend Career Fairs. Build relationships with local High Schools and Trade Schools, such as UTI and other automotive based programs.
  • Conduct onboarding of new employees from providing all necessary information and instructions to coordinating first day orientation that includes a company tour, educating the new employee on the industry, different departments, processes and flow working with them closely to ensure their transition in the company is a success.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the General Manager

TRAINING DUTIES

  • Implement all processes pertaining to certification programs & training initiatives
  • Attend Managers meetings and give input where needed
  • Recommend incentive programs that you feel will motivate the sales staff
  • Communicate with salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed
  • Guide salespeople in setting objectives on a short and long term basis
  • Assist in developing programs of improvement for salespeople who are failing
  • Conduct structured sales training classes and test salespeople for results
  • Train salespeople on programs that will increase unit volume, gross, lease penetration, and finance penetration
  • Train salespeople on real life situations that occur in the car business
  • Produce reports on an as needed basis
  • Assis with the importing of information to our CRM from all direct mail and Ford Direct mailing manifests

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 year of full-time experience in recruiting, hiring, sales, and training; and performing routine office, executive assistance. Social media and recruitment platform knowledge a plus.
  • Experience in sales is required
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use general office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; superior communication skills (verbal and written) and active listening skills;
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
