Automotive Parts Counterperson

Planet Lincoln Love Field is looking for a parts counterman with previous dealership counter experience. Reynolds and Reynold’s and Ford are a plus. Great environment to work in.

Ability to multitask between technicians, phones, and retail customers
Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership

Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner.
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
Processes payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization
Issues and tracks requested shop tools to technicians
Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
Stays current with new products and product updates
Helps the parts manager maintain a lost sales tracking program

Locating available parts when dealership is out of stock
Handle volume in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work 7-5 and 9-7 alternating weeks and every other Saturday 7:30-5.
Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1+ years previous dealership experience required
Reynolds & Reynolds software experience a plus
Knowledge of current automotive technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly
Proficiency in computer skills
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Valid driver's license
